Windows

  1. Go to Start
  2. Click Run
  3. In the open box, type cmd and press Enter
  4. At the prompt, type ipconfig /all and press Enter. (Note: there is a space between ipconfig and the forward slash.)
  5. Locate your Ethernet adapter description. Under description, you will see the category labeled Physical Address. This is your MAC address that you will use for troubleshooting purposes. (Note: the MAC address is alphanumeric, and consists of 12 characters.
