# Avoid blinking or scrolling text. Moving text and animation can be a distraction to people with cognitive disabilities. Screen readers or individuals with visual or cognitive disabilities may not be able to read moving text.

# Avoid causing the screen to flicker; large flickering or flashing images may cause seizures in users with photosensitive epilepsy. These seizures can be triggered by flickering or flashing in the 4 to 59 flashes per second (Hertz) range, with greatest sensitivity occurring at 20 flashes per second. Rapid tonal changes can have the same effect.

# Provide clear text alternatives for continuous animation.

# Check accessibility by viewing your page in multiple browsers and platforms, then verify it with tools like CAST's on-line [BOBBY verification tool|http://www.cast.org/bobby3.0].
