If the confirmation message does not state the password for UAlbany Mail was set/reset, or it contains an error message, you may not have access to UAlbany Mail. New students can access MyUAlbany immediately but may have to wait 4 hours or until the next business day to access to their UAlbany Mail account. Wait until the next business day before resetting your password again or contact the ITS Help Desk. |
2. Log On to MyUAlbany
- Go to http://www.albany.edu/myualbany. Select STUDENT LOG ON and when prompted, enter your NetID and password. Follow the instructions to enter the MyUAlbany portal.
- Within the MyUAlbany portal, select Email Address to obtain your UAlbany email address. You should also verify your personal email address and information in your account, and update it whenever there are changes.
- Proceed with any other tasks the University has instructed you to complete.
- Always "Sign Out" of MyUAlbany and close all browser windows to protect your information.
