If your Distribution Group was not initially set up to permit senders outside of the UAlbany Mail system:

• If you remove everyone from the delivery management list, then anyone inside the UAlbany Mail system will be permitted to send to the group if they know the name/address.

•   
• When the delivery management list is empty, the system will present the owner with a message indicating that only UAlbany Mail customers may send to the group.
• In order to allow senders outside the UAlbany Mail system to send email to your Distribution Group, submit a Service Desk ticket requesting this be changed for your group.
