- Use the Phish Alert function available in the Outlook client (Windows only) and the Outlook Web App (OWA).
Outlook Restart Required - Please note that a restart of Outlook anytime after Oct. 8, 2016 is required to display the Phish Alert tool.
- With the message highlighted in the preview pane, or opened to view, click the Phish Alert icon. A copy of the message will forward to the Information Security team (infosec@albany.edu) and the message will be deleted automatically from your email account.

- Please note that forwarding a copy of a suspicious email does not create any rules or filters that would apply to future messages, even ones identical to the forwarded message.
