1. from within any application, open the file you want to print.

2. Select File, then Print from the upper left-hand corner of the window.

3. Make sure "Pharos Secure Printer" is the selected printer and press the "Print" button.
   • If this is the first time you're printing using Pharos, you will need to Get Your Student Printing Passcode at the Printer to release the print job
   • You may be prompted to log into the Pharos application with your UAlbany email address, password and 2-Step with Duo. 

4. Release and print jobs at any Student Printer. There are three ways to do this:

   • Print with Your Student Printing Passcode

   • Register and Print with Your UAlbany ID Card---requires a passcode to link card at the printer
     

   • Set Up the Pharos Secure Release Mobile App  (advanced users)
