Action

You can remove bad actors or individuals that should not be in your Zoom meeting. Complete the following instructions to remove a person from a Zoom meeting.

  1. While in your Zoom Meeting, click the Security icon click Participants at the bottom of the Zoom Meeting window.
  2. Select Lock Meeting.

  3. You will see the following message: "You have locked the meeting. No one else can join."
  4. To unlock the meeting, just click on the Lock Meeting again. You will then receive a message that the meeting has been unlocked and participants can join the meeting

  5. In the Participants panel, place your mouse over the name of the person you wish to remove and click More.
  6. Click Remove.

  7. You will be prompted to confirm removing the person.
  8. Confirm that the checkbox to report to Zoom is checked If you wish to report the person to Zoom
  9. Click Remove.
