  • If you are a new undergraduate student, please contact Admissions

  • If you are a new Graduate Student, please contact Graduate Admissions

  • If you are a non-matriculated student, or a visiting student please contact General Studies

  • If you are an Employee, Volunteer or Emeritus, Please do the following:

    • Human Resources - Contact University at Albany HR (State HR, Volunteer, Emeritus) and provide your personal email address, then use the Self Service PIN Retrieval to request your PIN.

    • Research HR - Contact RF HR and provide your personal email address, then use the Self-Service PIN Retrieval to request your PIN.

  1. Retrieve your PIN which will allow you to Set Your Password to activate your account.

  2. Retrieve your PIN which will allow you to Get a Duo Bypass Code to complete your Duo Authentication.

Instructions for Retrieving your PIN

  1. Navigate to Set Your Password Get PIN.

  2. Select  Forgot your PIN?

  3. Complete the required fields and select Submit.

  4. Once completed, your PIN will be sent to the personal email address on record.

  5. Please note, that Enter your SSN or Albany ID, DOB and Select ‘Next

  6. Please note, it can take up to fifteen minutes to receive your PIN to your personal email that is on record. Once the request is made, you will receive a confirmation to your UAlbany Email address.

  7. After 15 minutes, if you still have not received your PIN, please check your JUNK or SPAM mail folder.
