Open On the mobile device you will be taking to school, open the Duo Enrollment Email, that was sent to the your personal email address that is on record with the University. The subject is, Then Select "University at Albany - Mandatory Duo Mobile App Enrollment." Half way down the email, select the Duo Enrollment Link.

If you receive
a
a "Disabled" message from Duo, it is because your
UAlbany
University at Albany account
is
has not been fully
enabled
activated. Please reset your password by going to Reset Your UAlbany Passwordand then wait 20 minutes for the systems to synchronize.
You will be prompted with a 'Welcome to Duo Security' message to set up your account. Select Next.

Duo will begin 'Did you know?' educating you on data breaches. Select Next.
Duo will continue their educational message on 'What can you do?'. Select Next.
Select the recommended Duo Mobile option.
Enter your phone number and select Add phone number.
Verify your phone number by selecting Yes, it's correct.
Download Duo Mobile if you haven't already done so. Once downloaded, select Next.
Select Continue to Open Duo Mobile
Select Open
Select Save
Your account is now registered with the Duo Mobile App. You are now Successfully Configured!
When you go back to your email account, on your device, you will be given the option to continue. Select Continue
You have the choice to add a Security Key, if . If you do not have a Security Key, select "Skip for Now." Note:

Security Key
A Security Key is a device you must purchase, like a Yubi key. This is not the same as the Duo Hardware Token.
If you want to add another device, finish enrolling first, and then go through the process of adding another device. For the most seamless experience, you will need to log into another browser that hasn't been remembered
