Using WiUAlbany (UAlbanyWiFi)
WiUAlbany is available to members of the University Community. You will need to log in with your NetID and password (same credentials you use to logon to MyUAlbany) to access the University's secure wireless network.

Where is wireless?

While wireless is widely available in academic areas across all three campuses, there remain spaces with weak or no access. Currently, there are not allocated funds for maintaining or improving the wireless infrastructure. ITS is aware of the benefits that could be realized from additional access points, or replacing current points with equipment with greater capacity. We are working with the campus to identify funds to continue improving this critical service.
Getting Support
- For assistance with configuring UAlbanyWiFi on University-owned equipment, please contact your Technology Coordinator .
- Instructions are provided for the popular operating systems and mobile devices to assist with configuring your equipment for UAlbanyWiFi. Some laptops or mobile devices may not be able to connect and use the campus wireless network.
