CIHS Department Drive Consolidation

CIHS Department Drive Consolidation

Summary

  • ITS will migrate shared folders from the separate SPH and SSW network drives to a single CIHS V: Drive. This change gives you a clearer folder structure and the right access.

    • Windows users: Your new CIHS V: Drive will be mapped automatically for University Windows computers on campus.  It will still be your V: Drive. You may need to manually map the new V: Drive from off-campus. See File Storage - Mapping Network Drives for details.

    • Mac and Linux users: You will need to manually map/mount the CIHS V: Drive to access your folders.  See File Storage - Mapping Network Drives for details.

Who is affected

All CIHS faculty and staff who use network shares on Lincoln (the “V: Drive”).
