Before attempting to configure a mail client or mobile device, please confirm that your password is initialized for the University's email system.

1. Go to https://mail.albany.edu to access Outlook on the web (a.k.a. Outlook Web Access, OWA)

2. Log in with your UAlbany NetID and password

3. If you are successful with login to Outlook on the web, you can Sign Out and proceed with configuring your client or device:

   • Getting Started with UAlbany Mail - configuring mail clients (i.e. Outlook) and mobile devices (i.e. iPhone, iPad, Android device)

4. If you are NOT successful, contact the ITS Service Desk for additional help
