Issue

You try to update your delegate list in Outlook but keep receiving the error message:

The Delegates settings were not saved correctly. Cannot activate send-on-behalf-of list. The operation could not be completed because one or more parameters are incorrect. Contact Microsoft Technical Support for the client application.

Resolution

  1. In your Start menu, search for "cmd" and open the Command Prompt app

  2. Run the command outlook.exe /cleanroamedprefs 

  3. Attempt to update the delegates again
