Software Center - Windows 10 Upgrade

This process could take 60-120 minutes to complete. If the process fails, please submit a ticket to the ITS service desk for additional support. 

One can see which version of Windows you are using by doing the following: Check the installed version of Windows.

One can look at the following to learn how to know if you need to upgrade Windows.

If you see both "Windows 11 Upgrade" and "Windows 10 Upgrade", please submit a ticket to the ITS service desk for additional support. 

  1. Log onto your computer.


  2. Click on the search button on the bottom left of the screen and begin to type in "Software Center".




  3. In the search results, click on Software Center.




  4. In the window that opens, click on Operating Systems.




  5. Click on Windows 10 Upgrade.




  6. Click the Install button.




  7. Click the Install button to confirm you wish to upgrade to Windows 10.
