How to get or renew a license for Microsoft 365 Copilot

A Microsoft 365 Copilot license has a cost associated with it - visit the Faculty/Staff Software Request Form to see the cost.

Request a License

To purchase a license, please submit the software request form.

ITS will review your request and provide you with the necessary information and support to get started. Please note it may take up to 2 weeks to procure licenses. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this process.

By submitting this request, you acknowledge that the development or use of any AI systems that when used could directly impact the public requires advance review by University leadership.

Renew a License

Your Microsoft 365 Copilot license is not auto-renewed each year.

• Annual renewal is required to keep using M365 Copilot.

• Each spring semester, ITS will email all M365 Copilot license holders with renewal instructions.

• To renew, submit a new license request via the software request form.

• If ITS does not receive a request to renew a license, it will automatically be removed at the end of the fiscal year.
