Action

You can sync someone else's OneDrive for Business library, an Office 365 Group document library, or files from a Microsoft Team to your computer so that you can access files and folders they have shared with you.  You can then work in Windows Explorer and open/save from/to this location directly from any application installed on your computer.  Any updates in either location will sync with the other whenever your computer is online.

Note

Only files and folders the other person explicitly shared with you will be available to you. This includes the default "Shared with Everyone" folder each person has in their account.

This also means that anyone else at the University can sync your "Shared with Everyone" folder by following these instructions as well.
