- Log into the VPN (Instructions)
- Download the SPSS installer here
- Locate the file and double click on it. Then click Continue.
- Click on the Continue button.
- Click on the Continue button.
- Accept the software license terms by clicking on the Agree button.
- Accept the default location or choose another drive for installation and click the Continue button.
- Click on the Install button.
- Enter you computer's administrator credentials and click on the Install Software button.
- You may be presented with a window to grant permission to the installer to access the folder location where the installation files are saved. Click the OK button.
- Click on the Close button.
- Locate the IBM SPSS Statistics Folder in Finder under Applications. Double click on SPSS Statistics to open the application and complete installation.
- Click on the Launch License Wizard button.
- Select the Concurrent user license radio button and then click Next button.
- Enter spasspss-acad.itec.suny.edu for the License manager server name. Then click the Next button.
- Once licensing has been completed click on the Finish button.
- Click the Restart button to restart SPSS and apply the license. SPSS is now ready to be used.
- SPSS should open. Please note that you need to have VPN connected for every time you use SPSS.
