  1. Open File manager

  1. Find the Connect to Server option at the left corner

3. Double click it.

4. It will ask you address.

  2. Open Files (the file manager)

  3. At left, click "+ Other Locations"

  4. At the bottom of the window, you should now see a "Connect to Server" field

  5. Enter the server address: smb://netID@storage.albany.edu

...

  1. Click connect

...

6. It will pop up a window, ask you Domain and password.

7. The Domain is UALBANY

8. Then input password for net id.

9. Connect.

It will map successfully.

  1. A new window will open, asking for login information
    1. Username: Your NetID (this field may not appear)
    2. Domain: UALBANY
    3. Password: Your UAlbany password
  2. Click Connect

Once connected, you will be at the root of the storage.albany.edu server, not in your S: Drive space.
