titleMigrate content from Array to OneDrive for Business (Windows, macOS, non-CS-Managed Linux machine)

  1. Using an SFTP client, connect to Array.

    1. Install an SFTP client (such as WinSCP on Windows or CyberDuck on macOS).
    2. Run the SFTP application.
    3. Use the following settings, when prompted:
      • File protocol: SFTP 
      • Host name: inbound.cs.albany.edu

      • Username: Your CS ID 

      • Password: Your CS ID password
      • Port number: 22 
  2. Download your files and folders to your local hard drive.
  3. Open a File Explorer/Finder/File Manager window to display the folder containing your downloaded contents.
  4. Open mail.albany.edu in browser in a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
  5. Click the "waffle" icon at the top left and choose OneDrive:
  6. Create a new folder in OneDrive for these files.
  7. Select all contents in this local folder and drag the folders and files to the folder in OneDrive in your browser - they will upload.
