Action

If you have created a Zoom account with your @albany.edu address before March 9, 2020, please complete the following steps to switch to the University Zoom account.

Instructions

  1. Go to albany.zoom.us and select Sign In.


  2. Click Switch to the New Account.

  3. Click the I Acknowledge and Switch button.

  4. You will receive a confirmation that an email has been sent to your @albany.edu email address with additional instructions.

  5. Find the message in your UAlbany Mail mailbox and click Switch to the New Account or the link in the message.

  6. You will be directed to a confirmation screen. Click Sign In Now to sign in with your NetID and password to access Zoom from the web or launch the Zoom desktop client.

Additional Information

Keeping your old account

If you had a paid Zoom account with more functionality than your UAlbany Zoom Pro/Licensed account and wish to maintain it, you must change the email address associated with your paid Zoom account to a non-University at Albany email account (i.e. cannot be "@albany.edu").  Your department will continue to receive invoices from Zoom.
