Use the Duo Device Portal to add devices, update preferences, and change settings. Log in and verify your identity with your current settings to get started.

Get a Duo Bypass code
Get temporary access to Duo by entering the Bypass code you received into the 'Passcode' box and select "Enter a Passcode."  

Activate or reactivate a phone using a registered number

 Details

If you are partially activated, or have replaced your phone, but are using the same number you will need to "Reactivate Duo Mobile"

After logging in, click on your device and select Reactivate Duo Mobile.




Follow the instructions to complete the reactivation process.

To add a cellphone with a new number, follow the instructions to Add a new device.

Add a new device

After logging in, click + Add another device.



Select the type of device you want to add.


Follow the onscreen instructions for each device you want to add. ITS recommends adding multiple devices so you always have options for verifying your identity, no matter where you are.

To return to the main screen for adding a device, you may need to use your browser's Back button.

Remove or delete a device

Select the device you wish to delete and click the red trash can



Confirm you want to remove this device. The device will be deleted from your list.

2-Step with Duo requires that you always have at least one device registered. You can only delete a device if you have two or more registered devices.

Rename a device

Choose the device you want to rename and click Device Options.



Choose Change Device Name.


Rename your device. Click save when you are done.


Duo will assign a default name to all registered devices. You can change the names of your registered devices anytime.

Change My Settings and Devices

 Details

There are many options for receiving Duo verifications. You can change the way you receive Duo prompts each time you log in, or you can set default preferences:

  • Select a Default Device, provided you have at least two registered devices (Tokens cannot be selected as default devices).
  • Select Automatically send this device a Duo Push for the most secure, streamlined experience.
  • Select Ask me to choose an authentication method if you want to choose the method by which you receive your code every time you login.
