Wireless Service - Features

Multiple networks are available for user access:

• UAlbanyWiFi: This SSID provides full network access for authenticated students, faculty and staff.

• eduroam: This SSID can be used to connect at the University as well as other participating members of the eduroam service, found here. It also provides full network access for authenticated students, faculty and staff.

• UAGuest: This SSID provides restricted network access for guests of the University (Internet access is permitted, but access to University resources is limited or blocked). It requires authentication with the guest ID and password, as well as acceptance of the acceptable use policy. The guest password changes monthly for security purposes.
