UAlbany faculty, staff and students are entitled to install and use Office 365 ProPlus on their personal computers while they have UAlbany Mail accounts.  Please click here for additional information.

You may install Office 365 ProPlus applications on at most 10 computers.  If you find you need to install on another computer, you must first deactivate a license.

To see which computers you have activated Office 365 ProPlus on and select the computer to deactivate, do the following:

  1. Log in to Outlook Web App (OWA) on your Windows 7, Windows 8, or Mac computer.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the right corner.
     
  3.  Scroll down and select Office 365 Settings.
  4. Click on Install and manage software.

  5. Click the appropriate Deactivate link to deactivate the license for the specified computer.

    Deactivation does not actually uninstall Office from a computer. Office is still installed on the computer, but the Office applications are placed in reduced functionality mode.
