When an employee’s (includes current faculty and active lecturers) status changes, ITS needs to know so we can provide the appropriate action for their assigned workstation.
Departments need to notify ITS of these changes when they are planned, then we will consult with you.
Please plan for a minimum two week turnaround to deploy a workstation from the time the request for a new workstation is finalized.
Department On-boarding an employee
Notify ITS when an employee (includes current faculty and active lecturers) will join your department. Contact the ITS Service Desk with these details:
Name of individual
New office location
Will they be working fully remotely?
Is the employee new to the university?
Is the employee (includes current faculty and active lecturers) changing departments (moving)?
Details of workstation they are currently using:
Name of workstation: Find your full computer name for Remote Desktop
Serial number of the workstation: Find the service tag or serial number for your computer
Office location of workstation
Department Off-boarding an employee
Notify ITS when an employee (includes current faculty and active lecturers) will leave your department. . Collecting university property (workstations) before the employee separates from the university (from their assigned office, from a campus drop off, or via mail).
