If you remove everyone from the delivery management list, then anyone inside and outside of the UAlbany Mail system will be permitted to send to the group if they know the name/address. When the delivery management list is empty, the system will present the owner with a message indicating that only UAlbany Mail customers may send to the group, but that is not the case except by special request. In order to allow senders outside the UAlbany Mail system to send email to your Distribution Group, submit a Service Desk ticket requesting this be changed for your group. |
