  1. Duo Mobile App – (Smartphone/Tablet)- download the free Duo Mobile app from the App Store or Google Play. 
    1. Internet Connection: Push notifications to the Duo mobile app will work in any location as long as your phone has an internet connection.
    2. No internet connection: Use Duo mobile’s built-in Passcode feature.  You will be able to generate passcodes and use them to authenticate. You do not need a Wi-Fi connection to utilize the passcode feature. (i.e., airplane mode with your device).

  2. Bypass code - If you won't have a smartphone/tablet it is possible contact the ITS Service Desk to get a bypass code that can be used for temporary Duo authentication for the duration of your trip.  Contact the ITS Service Desk to request this option. 

  3. Hardware Token - If you don’t have a smartphone/tablet and you travel internationally often, you may want to get a hardware token. Hardware tokens do not require an internet connection to operate and can generate codes from any location regardless of country. Contact the ITS Service Desk to request a token.
