- Ethernet cable connected to the network port on the phone or the data jack on the wall isn’t seated all the way in.
- Check both ends of the Ethernet cable and make sure they are seated properly within the ports (pushed all the way into the jack).
- If the phone is still not turning on; then it is possible that the data jack on the wall isn’t active.
- Data jack is not active,
- Look for another available data jack within the room and try connecting the phone to it.
- Find a working phone, disconnect it by unplugging the wire from the bottom of the phone, connect your phone and see if it works.
- If the phone is still not turning on, submit a ticket to the ITS Service Desk
