  1. Ethernet cable connected to the network port  on the phone or the data jack on the wall isn’t seated all the way in.
    1. Check both ends of the Ethernet cable and make sure they are seated properly within the ports (pushed all the way into the jack).
    2. If the phone is still not turning on; then it is possible that the data jack on the wall isn’t active. 
  2. Data jack is not active,
    1. Look for another available data jack within the room and try connecting the phone to it.   
    2. Find a working phone, disconnect it by unplugging the wire from the bottom of the phone, connect your phone and see if it works.
    3. If the phone is still not turning on, submit a ticket to the ITS Service Desk
