Action

To prevent mail from erroneously being sent to your Junk folder, you can add the sender's email address to your Safe Senders list.

Instructions

Outlook

  1. Right click on a message whose Sender you wish to add to your Safe Senders list.
  2. Select Junk.
  3. Select Never Block Sender:

If you feel all mail from the user's domain (@domain) is safe you may want to choose the option to Never Block Sender's Domain.

Email addresses that contain @albany.edu should not be added to your safe senders list. It is not recommended and can cause erratic behavior.

  2. The message will be moved to your Inbox and the sender will be added to your Safe senders and recipients list.
