Action

Adobe Creative Cloud is available on computers in the following classrooms and public computing spaces. 

Classrooms

  • Arts and Sciences, AS-13 (Windows)
  • Husted, HS-04 (Windows)
  • Science Library SL-G03 (Macintosh) & SL-G12 (Windows)

Public Computing Spaces

  • Dewey Library, 1st floor (Windows)
  • University Library, LI-137 (Macintosh)

Instructions

When using the Creative Cloud apps on these computers, users will be prompted to log in.  The log in credentials must be for an active personal Adobe account.  This account is separate from the UAlbany IT account and users must first create their own Adobe account.

Method 1: Create Adobe Account Online

  1. Go to www.adobe.com
  2. Click Sign In
  3. Click Create an account (You will have to use a personal email address)
  4. Enter your information and click Create account.


    You will receive an email prompting you to complete and verify the account creation.

Method 12: Create Adobe Account Through Creative Cloud Application

  1. Open Creative Cloud Application

               




Launch an Adobe Creative Cloud app

  1. Click the app icon to launch.



  2. When prompted, enter the email address associated with your personal Adobe account and click Continue.  Do not use your NetID. 
    Note: This may or may not be your UAlbany email address.



  3. When prompted, enter the password of your personal Adobe account and click Continue.


    The app you've chosen to launch will open for use.

Launch Adobe Creative Cloud

  1. Click the Adobe Creative Cloud icon.


  2. When prompted, enter the email address associated with your personal Adobe account and click Continue.  Do not use your NetID. 
    Note: This may or may not be you UAlbany email address.



  3. When prompted, enter the password of your personal Adobe account and click Continue.


  4. When Adobe Creative Cloud launches, click Done to use the app.


  5. On the Files tab, click the plus sign icon to create a new file.
