Microsoft recently released Windows 11, their latest operating system. Support for Windows 10 ends in October 2025; all university-owned computers must upgrade to Windows 11 by this time. Starting INSERT DATE, faculty and staff can upgrade their university-owned computer at their convenience. For assistance installing the update, submit an ITS Service Request.

Installing the update will take 1-2 hours. ITS recommends initiating the process at the end of the business day to minimize disruption.
