A: There are three ways to release a print job at a printer:
- Print with Your Student Printing Passcode.
- Register and Print with Your UAlbany ID Card. After you have register your UAlbany ID Card the first time, simply swipe your ID Card to print. Note that your UAlbany ID Card only works with B&W printers.

A: Approximately 20% of UAlbany ID Cards contain special characters that prevent them from working with color printers. All UAlbany ID Cards work with B&W printers.
