Action
Former University at Albany students have the ability to temporarily regain access to their accounts for 2 two-week periods as long as they are within 8 months of the date that their account is closed. To begin this process, follow the steps below.
Instructions
- Log in to MyUAlbany at https://www.albany.edu/myualbany by clicking 'MyUAlbany for Student' and using your NetID and password.
- In the Tasks section of MyUAlbany, select the Temporary ITS Access (2 weeks) Renewal link.
- In the To Do Item column, select the Temporary ITS Access (2 weeks) link.
- Place a checkmark in the checkbox indicating you would like 2 weeks of temporary access to your UAlbany IT Account and select the Save button.
- Completion messages:
- Once you complete the Extension Request you will receive an email to the personal email we have on record with instructions on how to activate your UAlbany IT Account.
- If you do not have a personal email on file, you will still receive access to the account after 11:00 am the following day by activating your UAlbany IT Account.
- Once you complete the Extension Request you will receive an email to the personal email we have on record with instructions on how to activate your UAlbany IT Account.
