  • All users are encouraged to activate Single Sign-On (SSO) Prefill for forms they intend to share publicly. For detailed guidance on this process, please consult the following instructions at: SSO Prefill Setup Guide.

Accessing and Using Custom Templates

Accessing and Using Custom Templates

  • Log in to your JotForm account to access and use custom templates.

  • In your JotForm dashboard, click "Create Form" to start a new form.

  • Within the Form Builder, select "Use a Template" to explore JotForm's template library.

  •  

    • JotForm categorizes templates into various types, including event registration, surveys, contact forms, and more.


  • Users have the option preview each template before using them when selecting the template before clicking "Use Template" to initiate customization.


  • Users can customize each selected template according to their needs. This can be done by adding, modifying or deleting form fields, adjusting design elements and tailoring contents to match their preferences.

  • If, after initially logging into JotForm once their account has been created, a user encounters difficulty in viewing options to create forms or access other features, they will need to log out and then log back in to ensure their access level is properly registered.

The Community User Group will serve as a self-help resource and forum for JotForm Form Creators. It's important to note that this group will not be managed by ITS in any capacity. Users are encouraged to discuss:

  • What projects each department is working on – this can help mitigate the risk of redundant work.

  • What projects departments are planning soon – this can also help mitigate redundancy as well as help stop development of solutions that already exist in the ITS Application Portfolio.

  • What tips, tricks, and best practices the developers have discovered in their use of the platform.

  • Development issues and how similar issues may have been solved by other developers.
