Using the GAL or Global Address List
The GAL is the UAlbany Mail Address Book. It contains the names of all faculty, staff, and students having UAlbany Mail accounts. Using the GAL enables you to send a message to a person without knowing their actual email address.
- In Outlook Web App, select Search mail and people to search for an individual by last name or click on the open book icon to view the Global Address List.
