In order to protect UAlbany Mail customers and University data, malware protection is enforced on mail sent to UAlbany Mail accounts. |
- Messages that contain known malware (short for "malicious software") are automatically deleted when detected by the mail server.
- The UAlbany Mail system will delete all executable file attachments. This is true whether the message originates from another UAlbany Mail user or an address outside the system.
