  1. Click on the calendar icon near the lower left corner of the screen. Then you can grant permissions to your calendar in Outlook by right-clicking on your calendar and choosing Properties.

  2. That will bring up the Calendar Properties window.  Select the Permissions tab here.
  3. You will see the Name and Permission Level section which minimally will have one entry: Default.
"Default" should be set to the Permission Level Free/Busy time. Whatever level of access is granted to "Default" is what all UAlbany Mail users will be able to see or access unless you have granted them specific privileges otherwise.  If, for example, Default is set to Editor, then anyone using UAlbany Mail will be able to make appointments for you or change your appointments. If it is not set to Free/Busy time, you can adjust the permissions by using the drop-down menu next to Permission Level:
  4. Click Add and select the user for which you wish to provide permission.
  5. You can choose one of those pre-defined levels by clicking Permission Level or by adding specific permissions manually.
  6. Click OK or Apply to apply the change.
