Set Up the Pharos Secure Release Mobile App

  1. Log into the Pharos Secure Release Setup Guide from any Information Commons computer.


  2. Click Mobile.


  3. Click Start.


  4. Click Print Test Page.


  5. Make sure that Pharos Secure Printer is the selected printer and click Print.


  6. Click Next.


  7. On your phone, open the App Store or Google Play and download the Pharos Secure Release App.

  8. Once downloaded, open the Pharos Secure Release app.

  9. Click "Scan"

    You may need to allow the app access to your mobile device's camera.

  10. When prompted, scan the QR code on the screen to link your Pharos passcode to your phone.


  11. Click Next.

  12. Go to any Student Printer and click Print All within the app on your phone.

  13. Scan the QR code attached to the printer. 

  14. Return to the computer and click Finish. Your Student Printing Passcode is now tied to your phone. To print, scan the QR code on any Student Printer.


Once the setup is complete, you'll be able to print with Pharos Secure Release Mobile App!
