E-Pay - Login process

Students

The login to E-Pay (http://epay.albany.edu) is with a student's NetID and password. If you are unable to log in to the E-Pay site, confirm you are using the correct NetID and password by logging in to MyUAlbany. If you can access MyUAlbany, but not E-Pay, contact epay@albany.edu.

If a student logs in incorrectly multiple times, the account will lock for a while (around 15 minutes), then they may try again.

To reset the 2-step login settings for Epay, students should contact Financial Aid, as the staff there can verify the user's identity and reset it.

While Epay's login is based on NetID and password, like other UAlbany services, its 2-Step Login is different from the main 2-Step login. If your Epay 2-step login is not working, you should contact Financial Aid.

Authorized Payers

Parents/Guardians also have the ability to access E-Pay as an "Authorized User." This access is set up by the student from inside their E-Pay account. The student inputs a personal e-mail address for the user, and the level of access the user will be allowed to have. An e-mail is then sent to the authorized user with a temporary password. Once logged in (username is the user's e-mail address), the user can change their password, view bills, or make payments according to their permission level.

If an Authorized User forgets his/her password, there is a link on the login page that will send a temporary password to the user's e-mail address.

If an Authorized User log in incorrectly multiple times, the account will lock for a while (around 15 minutes), then the authorized payer may try again or reset the password.

If resetting the password and waiting for unlock do not help, Authorized Users should contact Financial Aid, as the staff there can verify the user's identity and reset it.
