Action

To connect to UAlbany WiFi using an Android-based device, follow the steps below.

Instructions

1. From the main Android menu, select Settings

2. Select Wireless & networks

3. Select WiFi settings

4. Under WiFi networks, select UAlbanyWiFi

5. When the Connect to UAlbanyWiFi screen appears, select the following information 

   • EAP method: PEAP

   • Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2

   • CA certificate: N/A, or Use System Certificates if required

   • Client certificate: N/A

   • Identity: your NetID

   • Anonymous identity: leave blank

   • Wireless password: your password

   • Domain (if available): albany.edu
     
     

6. Click the Connect button.

You should now be connected to the UAlbanyWiFi wireless network.
