Action

To connect to UAlbany WiFi using a Windows 10 device, follow the steps below.

Instructions

1. On the Taskbar's Notification area (typically lower right), click the Network icon

2. Windows will display a list of available networks to join. Click UAlbanyWiFi. After selecting UAlbanyWiFi, click the Connect button.

3. The Settings app will open and Windows will then ask to enter your Username and password.

   1. In the User name field, enter your UAlbany NetID.

   2. In the Password field, enter your UAlbany password.

   3. Click OK.

4. Windows will then ask you to accept the security certificate in order to connect. Press the Connect button.

5. You will now be connected to UAlbanyWiFi. To test your connection status, UAlbanyWiFi will display a Connected status.
