To create a layout for content on a digital sign player using the integrated AxisTV Utilities, follow the steps below.

When you create a layout on a playlist, the layout exists only on that player. You will need to either create or copy the layout to other players if you want the layout to exist on your other players.

Instructions

  1. Open AxisTV Utilities

  2. Click the Connect tab and

  3. Select the player for which you want to create a layout.

  4. Click the Create button on the left of the window.

  5. Be sure to always select Normal for the Play Mode.

  6. Name the Layout something descriptive that describes what the layout is.

  7. Click Edit button on the left.

  8. Select the Wallpaper Folder drop down to select a background.

  9. Click the browse button next to Wallpaper to view all backgrounds in the selected aspect ratio.

  10. In the Selected Block or Overlay Details section, choose a playlist and enter the coordinates of the content block to place content.

  11. Repeat step #10 until all content blocks are filled with content.

  12. Click Save to save the layout.
