CopyLeaks Similarity Report Unauthorized Access
Issue
When attempting to view a CopyLeaks Similarity Report within Brightspace, you may see one of the the below error messages. Safari and Firefox users are primarily affected, or when using a private/incognito browsing tab.
First things to try
Switch to Google Chrome browser.
Use a regular, non-private/incognito tab.
Troubleshooting steps
Safari
In the top-left corner, click Safari → Settings.
Click the Privacy tab.
Uncheck the setting for "Prevent cross-site tracking".
Try loading your Similarity Report again.
Firefox
Open a new tab and navigate to "about:preferences".
Search for "cookies".
Under Enhanced Tracking Protection, select Custom.
For the Cookies category, select Cross-site Tracking Cookies.
Try loading your Similarity Report again.
