Starting November 1, 2023 | Faculty/staff can update university-owned machines at their convenience via Software Center. |
Insert date | Windows 10 22H2 will be pushed to all computers that are currently running 21H2 (I totally made this up). |
June 2024 | Windows 11 will be pushed to Software Center in all compatible computers. Once your computer receives the update, you will be prompted to install it right away. Support ends for Windows 10 22H2. ITS works with departments to transition these computers to Windows 11. |
October 2025 | Support ends for Windows 10. All university-owned computers must be running Windows 11. ITS will work with departments to address any computers that cannot support this current operating system. |
