Was my upgrade successful - Check the installed version of Windows

If you went through the upgrade process and you see one of the versions below, you are all set.  If you have not gone through the upgrade process, see How to know if you need to upgrade Windows.

Method 1

  1. Press the Windows logo key + R
  2. Type winver in the Open box
  3. Select OK
  4. The version will be displayed:

  1. Select the Start button
  2. Select Settings
  3. Select System
  4. Select About
  5. The version will be displayed:
