The instructions below describe how to map an individual's S: Drive on Ubuntu (a version of Linux) operating system. 

Instructions

  1. Open File manager
  2. Find the Connect to Server option at the left corner and double click it
  3. Enter the server address: smb://netID@itsunix.albany.edu
  4. Click connect
  5. A new window will open, asking for login information
    1. Username: Your NetID
    2. Domain: UALBANY
    3. Password: Your UAlbany password
  6. Click Connect
