Video Conferencing in BB-12
Getting Started
Have the IP address of the party you’d like to video conference with ready when you begin class. Also, make sure to fill out a video conferencing form here so we can test the connection with the remote party beforehand.
Now select the video conferencing option from the main screen
Making and Receiving Calls
Main Video Conferencing MenuSelect the image you want to send to the remote party from the buttons below the dialer. You can adjust the “instructor cam” and “student cam” anytime by hitting the home button and then the “camera controls” button.
Making a call: Enter the IP address with each series of numbers followed by the "DOT" button. Doing so will place the period in-between the numbers. Once it is entered, hit the "DIAL" button.
Receiving a call: You can use the "layout" view to see when a call comes in, or wait for the call tone. To bring up the layout of the main screen, hit the “layout” button. Once you see or hear the incoming call, hit the "ANSWER" button.
Layout ScreenThe image displayed on the left screen at the front of the room and left monitor in the rear is the layout of the video conferencing system. There is no way to change this. Once a call is made, the remote party will be shown here.
The image displayed on the right screen at the front of the room and the right screen in the back of the room is the image you are sending the remote party.
