To reset all network connections in Windows, take the following steps.

Automatic (recommended)

Windows 10 automated process to reset and reinstall networking drivers and settings:

  1. Select the Start  button, then select Settings  > Network & Internet > Status > Network reset

  2. On the Network reset screen, select Reset now > Yes to confirm.

  3. Wait for your PC to restart and see if that fixes the problem.

Windows 11 automated process to reset and reinstall networking drivers and settings:

  1. Select the Start  button, then select Settings  > Network & Internet > Advanced Network Settings > Network reset

  2. On the Network reset screen, select Reset now > Yes to confirm.

  3. Wait for your PC to restart and see if that fixes the problem.

Command-line

Windows 10 command-line reset function for network adapters:

  1. Open the Command Prompt with administrator access

  2. Enter the command "netcfg -d" and press Enter/Return

  3. After some processing, press Enter/Return to restart the computer
