Using the IAS Security Audit Review

If you have IAS access and are not a direct supervisor or EAS contact, you can run the report on yourself and review your OWN IAS security access.

The IAS Security Audit Review allows a supervisor or Enterprise Application Security Contact (EAS Contact) the ability to review the current access of employees they are responsible for, ensuring that employees only have access to the data needed to perform job related tasks.  In addition, reviewing access of a current employee can be helpful when requesting access for a new employee by ensuring the new employee has the correct access to perform necessary job-related tasks.

Navigate to the IAS Security Audit Review

  1. Log into IAS at www.albany.edu/ias or go to directly to the IAS Security Audit.

  2. Once logged into IAS, select the compass compass.png to begin the following menu PS Menu.png navigation:
Select the Menu button>UA Custom Addons > UASA Security > Inquire > IAS Security Audit Review

  3. Add this navigation to your Favorites.

  4. You will see a page similar to the one below.

  5. Click on the Search button to display all employees that you are listed as being responsible for as either their supervisor or responsible person or Enterprise Application Security Contact (EAS Contact).

If you do not have any direct reports and are not an EAS Contact, you will not see anyone reported in the Employee table.  You will see a message that says, "You have no employees/staff assigned to review."
