Action

Cannot log in - user gets an incorrect user / password

Jabber says 'disconnected' - no number associated with app

Instructions



For mobile Jabber: download the 'Cisco Jabber' app from the Apple Store (iPhone), or the Google Play Store (Android)

For personal desktop/laptop: download from Jabber Download



1) open the app and sign in with your UAlbany mail (xxx@albany.edu)

2) click on 'Continue'

3) if your email address is still in the first field, erase that and replace it with your NetID

4) enter the password for your NetID

5) click on 'Continue'

6) click on 'OK' for the 911 message ... DO NOT click on the 'X' to close the window

7) you should be able to receive calls and dial out, using Jabber now
