How to know if you need to upgrade Windows

  1. Open Software Center by typing Software Center in your search box.
    Windows 10: 
    Search Bar 
    Windows 11:


  2. Click Operating Systems.


  3. View the list to see if either option is available:
    1. Windows 10 Upgrade
    2. Windows 11 Upgrade
    3. If nothing is listed, then you do not need to upgrade.

If you see both "Windows 11 Upgrade" and "Windows 10 Upgrade", please submit a ticket to the ITS service desk for additional support.
